Teeny Tiny Capybara Crochet Pattern

TEENY TINY CAPYBARA is a quick item to make. It is the perfect tiny item to gift little ones with little hands. It is also fast to make for markets. Here is my version of a capybara. Hope you enjoy this one!

Difficulty Level: Intermediate 

Finished Measurement: 3 inches long x 1.5 inches wide

Materials Needed For This Project:

  • Big Twist Posh Yarn, Size 5 Bulky yarn; [100% polyester; 233 yd/7.05 oz; 213 m/200 g] in color Brown Butter (Contrast Color) and Croissant (Main Color)

  • Black crochet thread (1 super fine weight yarn) for eyes and nose  

  • Pink acrylic or chenille yarn (4 worsted or 5 bulky weight yarn) for cheeks

  • Crochet hook G 4.00 mm

  • Polyfil fiber

  • Scissor

  • Yarn needle

Abbreviations Need To Know:

  • BO: bobble Stitch

  • BLO: back loop only

  • ch: chain

  • CC: contrast color

  • dec: decrease

  • FLO: front loop only

  • inc: increase

  • MC: main color

  • MR: magic ring

  • sc: single crochet

  • sk: skip

  • sl st: slip stitch

  • sp: space

  • st/sts: stitch(es)

  • yo: yarn over
